HANOVER TOWNSHIP ZONING RESOLUTION

Notice is hereby given that the Hanover Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed Hanover Township Zoning Resolution and Official Zoning Map, in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 519.12.
Date: February 23, 2026
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Hanover Township Building - Rock Haven Road, Hanover, Ohio 43055

This public hearing is being held to receive public comments and considerations regarding the proposed Hanover Township Zoning Resolution and Zoning Map. Following the hearing, the Hanover Township Zoning Commission will review and discuss the comments received, consider potential revisions, and determine whether to recommend the proposed zoning resolution to the Hanover Township Board of Trustees.

Because Hanover Township does not currently have zoning, adoption of the zoning resolution would require approval by a majority of Township voters if the Trustees elect to place the issue on a future ballot. The proposed Zoning Resolution and Zoning Map are available for public review on the Hanover Township website at: https://hanovertownshipohio.net/ or at the Township Building.

All interested persons are encouraged to attend and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
